I went to a Arbitration today in Cumberland county court i was hit by a truck at a red light in 2012 he was on a cell phone and he slammed into me and put me on permanent disability and caused me to lose a Read more ... good paying job
So in the Arbitration the cumberland county lawyers said to me in humiliating words we acknowledge the fact that this driver is 100% at fault but that cumberland county is a poor community so we will not be rewarding you lost wages and expences for medical bills. We dont see your entitled to it since in 2009 you had a prior injury First of all im not suing Cumberland county im suing a insurance company and second of all the accident happened in jersey city not in cumberland county and 3rd i was working in the painters union and working in 2012 what does 2009 have to do with a driver hitting me in 2012 and putting me on permanent disability. And costing me to lose a good paying job. These suck ass lawyers from Cumberland county said do to the fact that cumberland county is a poor community im not entiled to what the law said i can recieve in nj. if a driver is 100% in fault in nj your entiled to lost wages and future wages and and everything else in between and these suck ass lawyers are trying to deny me my claims saying becouse i live in Cumberland county it is a poor community is what he said to me
Now i have 30 days to appeal it and told my attorney were taking it to jury trial and he tried to discourage me and he doesnt want me to collect what the law said im entitled too. these people who work for Cumberland county courts are total jerk offs. To be denied medical expences and lost wages becouse i had a injury in 2009 has nothing to do with a driver slamming into me at a red light in 2012
