Read more ... llowed to have a voice at Westminster, the Conservatives and Labour will form some sort of "Unity Government" (a bit like Italy or Greece....yup!) rather than allow the status quo at the trough to be disrupted.
And the reason? Because quantitative easing, where the Bank of England was allowed to print billions of new pound notes (which never got further into the economy than the banks, but that's another story), was only possible by Westminster 'balancing the books' by changing the long term oil dividend forecasts for North Sea Oil. They basically remortgaged the Country by having 'Industry Experts' declare that the oil would last 20 years longer than previously forecast, and would sell at a higher price per barrel over the long term because of instability in the Middle East (which they caused).
Without Scottish oil, Westminster cannot balance its books (not to mention placing England into an immediate energy deficit, making them dependent upon either Scotland, Russia or the Middle East). It's that simple. And they will make damn sure that the SNP cannot hold any influence in Westminster that could jeopardise that.
