En ella se refirió, entre otras cosas, a la importancia de la paternidad, y citó como ejemplo a San José, padre terrenal de Jesucristo, a quien calificó de custodio. Custodio, porque debía educar y cuidar a su hijo amorosamente. “¿Y cómo ejerció José esta custodia?”, se preguntó Francisco; a lo que él mismo se respondió: “Con discreción, con humildad, en silencio, pero con una presencia constante y una fidelidad total”, aún cuando no comprendía el misterio que rodeaba a su paternidad. The preparation of a formal accusation against Diosdado Cabello, president of the National Assembly of Venezuela and Chavez's number two, was accelerated in the US federal prosecutor with the arrival yesterday in Washington, as a protected witness in leamsy Salazar, who until his Caracas output in December was the head of security Cabello.
Member of the Military in charge of the presidential guard, Salazar was for nearly ten years head of security and personal assistant Hugo Chavez. This is produced by the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) and taken to their destinations in the US and Europe mainly by Mexican cartels. The latest international figures show that Venezuela spend five weekly tons of narcotics. Ninety percent of the drugs produced in Colombia goes through Venezuelan territory.
As a permanent monitoring assistant to Cabello, Salazar testified situations and conversations that incriminate the President of the National Assembly. Specifically, he saw giving direct orders for the departure of boats loaded with tons of cocaine and provided local evidence where dollars mountains this illegal business are stored in cash, according to people familiar with the investigation carried out by the administration of Drug Control (DEA, its acronym in English) US.
On the last day December 11 was arrested in the maritime terminal of Puerto Cabello, the most important of Venezuela, a truck loaded with about ten million dollars in cash. The US proceeded vehicle and it is speculated that it could be a payment received by drugs. Any fault in the organization would have led to its discovery and denunciation.
Days later, on his weekly television program, instead of adding to suspicion that the money was drug related, President of the National Assembly made a special effort to acknowledge the political opposition and recipient of the wads of cash, without providing any evidence.
Cabello, military training, has cultivated leadership among Chavista members of the military, but the step taken by Salazar, of respected history and track record, may reduce its support base in the barracks. The Lieutenant Commander had not been involved in any criminal activity, which reinforces the value of his testimony.
According to his revelations, the command of the Military Tarek el Aissami also involves, governor of Aragua and related to Islamic networks, and José David Cabello, superintendent of Seniat (tax and customs agency) and Industry Minister, who is the brother President of the National Assembly. José David Cabello would be responsible for the finances of the Cartel of the Suns. Salazar points as a forum for the money laundering national oil company, PDVSA, whose president between 2004 and 2014, Rafael Ramirez, was appointed in December ambassador to the UN Security Council.
His testimony, according to the cited sources close to the investigation, confirmed many of the data that had already passed the DEA Eladio Aponte, who was head of section of the Supreme Court of Venezuela and, in 2012, fled to the US as a protected witness.
The case against Diosdado Cabello is closely connected to the charge announced last year by federal prosecutors in New York and Miami against General of Venezuela, Hugo Carvajal, long head of the Military Intelligence Directorate. The announcement was made when Carvajal, aka "the Chicken", was arrested in July in the Dutch island of Aruba, neighboring Venezuela, the US request, which demanded his extradition. However, Aruba allowed the escape of thanks to General Maduro government pressure. Carvajal had been considered the great Cartel operator of the Suns, but the Salazar information is located "the Chicken" under Cabello orders.
Regarding the relationship with Havana, Salazar would have mentioned the regular use of PDVSA aircraft to transport drug flight prepared by the son of Chavez and the son of German Sanchez Otero - which was Cuban ambassador to Caracas by 2009 - with connivance and this other Cuban officials. The final destination of shipments would have been in the US.
The sources related to research speculate that Sanchez Otero, of great harmony with Chavez was removed from the post of ambassador after the discovery of a cache in one of these flights, which resulted embarrassing for the Castro regime. The ambassador's son, who at the time was traveling alone, was arrested, while Chavez underwent rehab for addiction.

Vinha eu falando aqui no blog do narcotráfico na América Latina entre os países-membros do Foro de São Paulo e hoje sai esta matéria bombástica da ABC espanhola, que traduzo abaixo, sobre os servicinhos sujos dos aliados do PT. Os chavistas já estão desesperados com a informação, obviamente acusando a CIA de ter comprado o delator. Diosdado Cabello, o acusado, é aquele que cassou em março de 2014 o mandato da deputada opositora María Corina Machado. Fala tudo, Salazar!

A preparação de uma acusação formal contra Diosdado Cabello, presidente da Assembleia Nacional da Venezuela e número dois do chavismo, foi acelerada na procuradoria federal dos EUA com a chegada, ontem, em Washington, como uma testemunha protegida, de Leamsy Salazar, que até sua saída de Caracas em dezembro era o chefe de segurança de Cabello.
Membro da Casa Militar, encarregada da guarda presidencial, Salazar foi durante quase dez anos chefe de segurança e assistente pessoal de Hugo Chávez. Após sua morte, seus serviços foram solicitados pelo presidente da Assembleia Nacional, para quem também atuou como assistente pessoal. Salazar é o militar de posto mais alto (capitão de corveta, comparável a comandante) que rompe com o chavismo para, nos EUA, acusar formalmente os escalões superiores do país de práticas criminais, especialmente a relacionada com o tráfico de drogas.
Cartel dos Sóis
De acordo com fontes próximas à investigação aberta pela Procuradoria Federal do Distrito Sul de Nova York, Salazar afirma que o presidente da Assembleia Nacional é o líder do Cartel dos Sóis e, portanto, operador do narcoestado em que Chávez converteu a Venezuela. Salazar também vincula Cuba na proteção e no fornecimento de algumas rotas da droga que parte da Venezuela com destino aos EUA.
O Cartel dos Sóis, composto basicamente por militares (seu nome vem do emblema que o uniforme venezuelano coloca nas dragonas dos generais), tem na Venezuela o monopólio do tráfico de drogas. Esta é produzida pelas FARC (Forças Armadas Revolucionárias da Colômbia) e levada a seus destinos nos EUA e na Europa basicamente por cartéis mexicanos. As últimas cifras internacionais indicam que pela Venezuela passam cinco toneladas semanais de entorpecentes. Noventa por cento da droga produzida pela Colômbia passa por território venezuelano.
Como assistente de acompanhamento permanente a Cabello, Salazar testemunhou situações e conversas que incriminam o presidente da Assembleia Nacional. Especificamente, ele o viu dando ordens diretas para a partida de barcos carregados com toneladas de cocaína e forneceu elementos de prova de locais onde montanhas de dólares deste negócio ilegal são armazenadas em dinheiro, de acordo com pessoas familiarizadas com a investigação, realizada pela administração de Controle de Drogas (DEA, na sigla em inglês) dos EUA.
No último dia 11 de dezembro foi preso no terminal marítimo de Puerto Cabello, o mais importante da Venezuela, um caminhão carregado com cerca de dez milhões de dólares em dinheiro. O veículo procedia dos EUA e especula-se que poderia ser um pagamento por drogas recebidas. Alguma falha na organização teria levado a sua descoberta e denúncia.
Dias mais tarde, em seu programa semanal de televisão, em vez de somar-se a suspeita de que o dinheiro estava relacionado com a droga, o presidente da Assembleia Nacional fez um esforço especial para acusar a oposição política e destinatária dos maços de dinheiro, sem fornecer qualquer prova disso.
Cabello, de formação militar, tem cultivado a liderança entre os membros chavistas das Forças Armadas, mas o passo dado por Salazar, de respeitadas trajetória e folha de serviço, pode reduzir a sua base de apoio nos quartéis. O capitão de corveta não havia sido envolvido em qualquer atividade criminal, o que reforça o valor de seu testemunho.
De acordo com suas revelações, o comando da Casa Militar também envolve Tarek el Aissami, governador do estado de Aragua e relacionado com redes islâmicas, e José David Cabello, superintendente do Seniat (agência fiscal e aduaneira) e ministro da Indústria, que é irmão do presidente da Assembleia Nacional. José David Cabello seria responsável pelas finanças do Cartel dos Sóis. Salazar aponta como instância para a lavagem de dinheiro a companhia nacional de petróleo, PDVSA, cujo presidente entre 2004 e 2014, Rafael Ramirez, foi nomeado em dezembro embaixador ante o Conselho de Segurança da ONU.
Seu testemunho, de acordo com as citadas fontes próximas à investigação, ratificou muitos dos dados que já passara a DEA Eladio Aponte, que foi chefe de seção do Supremo Tribunal da Venezuela e, em 2012, fugira para os EUA como testemunha protegida.
O caso contra Diosdado Cabello está intimamente ligado à acusação formal anunciada no ano passado pelos ministérios públicos federais de Nova York e Miami contra o general da Venezuela, Hugo Carvajal, durante muito tempo chefe da Direcção de Inteligência Militar. O anúncio se fizera quando Carvajal, vulgo “o Frango”, foi preso em julho na ilha holandesa de Aruba, vizinha da Venezuela, a pedido dos EUA, que exigiu a sua extradição. No entanto, Aruba permitiu a fuga do general graças às pressões do governo Maduro. Carvajal vinha sendo considerado o grande operador do Cartel dos Sóis, mas a informação de Salazar situa “o Frango” sob as ordens de Cabello.
Em relação ao vínculo com Havana, Salazar teria mencionado o uso regular de aviões da PDVSA para transportar droga em voos preparados pelo filho de Chávez e o filho de German Sanchez Otero – que foi embaixador de Cuba em Caracas até 2009 -, com conivência deste e de outros funcionários cubanos. O destino final dos carregamentos teria sido os EUA.
As fontes relacionadas com a investigação especulam que Sanchez Otero, de grande sintonia com Chávez, foi removido do cargo de embaixador depois da descoberta de um esconderijo em um desses voos, o que resultou embaraçoso para o regime castrista. O filho do embaixador, que na ocasião viajava sozinho, foi preso, enquanto que o de Chávez passou por reabilitação para o vício.
