Taylor Marie Mayweather I believe I have found the inspiration for these clown sightings that have been popping up everywhere. There was a webcomic made in around 2005. The creator of Cocoa, a person who goes by the name "St. Äma" lived in the Greenville/Spartanburg area w Read more ... here the comic was first created.
There was recently several sightings in those towns and they've gotten similar news coverage and people claim they are terrifying and one even tried to lure a child into the woods.
Anyway I will let you be the judge. Here is the website, and I'm linking to one particular comic where this "clown" is harassing people, much like the real life sightings.
This particular comic is SFW but some of the other comics are not, and are extremely disturbing. Not for the faint of heart, or people who are triggered by violence, sexual assault, animal cruelty, etc.
