Rick found Zula (pronounced like Zsa Zsa, as in Gabor) in a ditch unable to move, with a leg injury, starving, with no fur. Erika writes: "She couldn't even walk. He nursed her back to health with what little he had (with the help of some neighbors) and did what he could with what he had the only way he knew how. By the time we were made aware of the situation, her alopecia was not too terrible, she was walking and decent body condition. We helped with medicated shampoo, antibiotics, etc. She ended up looking fine."
