This reduces the tensile strength of latex materials but reduces the concentration of nitrosamine. The tyre industry does not leach its products because it needs the maximum strength in a tyre. But where do the mm's of tyre wear go? It ends up on the road and is washed away by storms. Has anyone done research to see if this enters our bodies through drinking water? I would be keen to know the answer because this might be a major cause of cancer(s)?
