It does not produce, fund or compel municipalities to expend local funds to build affordable housing. Funding is usually provided by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) through its various housing programs or by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA) using its bonding capabilities or its federal low income housing tax credit allocations. Some municipalities also expend their own funds or utilize bonding resources. It's mission is to facilitate the production of sound, affordable housing for low and moderate income households by providing the most effective process to municipalities, housing providers, nonprofit and for profit developers to address a constitutional obligation within the framework of sound, comprehensive planning. BahamaNews For Immediate Release March 30, 2014 It has now become clearer than ever before, that Prime Minister Perry Christie has abandoned any pretenses that he or his administration has any intention of addressing the myriad of pressing national issues fa Read more ...
cing this country. Last week, the Prime Minister again proved that he is concerned only with his personal comfort and legacy as a political figure, announcing plans to construct new Parliamentary facilities and a residence for the Prime Minister. Clearly, he has chosen to abandon the many issues which his party promised to confront while on the campaign trail. Promises of increased employment; promises of mortgage relief; promises of improved crime fighting and immigration measures and promises of economic stability have all taken a back seat to the Prime Minister’s pet projects; the first of which included the disastrous “referendum” on gaming and most recently his push for new Parliamentary facilities and a residence for the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister’s comments prove yet again, that the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP), despite their “Believe in Bahamians” election mantra, cannot be trusted to make the needs of the country a priority. In a Bahamas where struggling men and women continue to lose their jobs and their homes, the Prime Minister is choosing to agitate for grander political edifices. Even worse, while making these pronouncements, the Prime Minister failed to provide the public with an estimated timeline or a proposed budget; even asserting during his remarks that matters of Parliamentary concern should not be limited by budgetary demands. How, during the worst economic recession in recent memory can a Prime Minister justify using scarce government resources on what can only be described as an unnecessary luxury? The question is asked, how can the Prime Minister make such a comment and yet speaks to adding taxes in the form of Value Added Tax (VAT) on the backs of the Bahamian people? The Prime Minister has stipulated on many occasions that the country needs money. The fact of the matter is the country is broke! So Mr. Prime Minister, we in the DNA ask…show us the money! Rather than implement policies to restrict reckless government spending, this administration is choosing to wastefully spend tax payer dollars while simultaneously increasing the tax burden on the middle class and the poor among us. While the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) cannot deny the need for a modern House of Parliament and a residence for the Prime Minister, such concerns pale in comparison to the far more critical issues facing Bahamians today! Since taking office the government has failed time and time again to get its priorities in order. The time has come for this PLP administration and its leaders to put aside their personal ambitions and inclinations and truly live up to the expectations of the electorate by putting the needs of the Bahamian people and this country FIRST. The time has long past for good governance in this country. Branville McCartney DNA Leader

cience to be perfect the instruments used to acquire and analyze the data must also be perfect. If the instruments are imperfect, the data and conclusions drawn from such imperfect observation will also necessarily be imperfect. Since all scientific instruments currently available only function within a highly limited spectrum of reality, modern science is still quite unscientific and hence still groping along in the dark ages. Fortunately we have a scientific instrument available to us which, if properly focused, can give us perfect data thus allowing us to have perfect scientific knowledge. That scientific instrument is consciousness, but it must be properly focused. If a mirror is dirty, it cannot give a good reflection. But if it is clean, it will reflect things very clearly. Similarly when consciousness is properly focused by being cleansed of all dirt, it can yield a perfect scientific vision of reality. That cleansing process has been taught to us by great enlightened sages, who could directly perceive all the scientific truths regarding this universe and the multi-universes, both mundane and supra-mundane, beyond the present universe in which we reside. That cleansing process is the mantra yoga system. By meditating on the mantra, a transcendental vibration coming from beyond this mundane universe, by regularly chanting and hearing it, all the dust which is presently covering the consciousness is cleared away and one can directly perceive everything clearly in a state of total awakening, just as the sun lights up everything in the daytime. Although the Vedic literatures from ancient India contain many powerful bona fide mantras, they recommend the Hare Krishna mantra as being the most powerful and effective mantra for this age. This greatest of all mantras is as follows: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

ave anything better to post. The purpose of the following words are to just put my friends on notice of a law that they may not be aware of. So here goes! As far a misdemeanors are concerned; if you get convicted for a violation of the UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE LAW, the statue states that your driving privileges in this state shall be suspended FOR 6 MONTHS. A couple of examples of these crimes would be, possession of paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle. There are many more crimes that fit this criteria but these are the most common in the courts that handle misdemeanors. So not only can you subject yourself to jail time and fines you also lose your driving privileges. I share this because I here it said way to many times, "I wasn't driving, why are my license being suspended" or "I need my license to go to work". IF YOU KNOW BETTER, DO BETTER!

Ambakeshwar what is AK 49....Lets see #AK49 explained: (1) It is no more a secret that the map of India in the AAP website showed a part of Kashmir as that of Pakistan's. (2) Modi had termed the aides of Kejriwal as agents of Pakistan and he was clearly hinting Read more ...
at Prashant Bhushan, a very senior founder member of AAP has gone on record in stating that issue of army presence in J&K should be decided by the people of the state through a referendum. (3) This apart AAP as a party is filled with people who have very high level of sympathy for the Maoist cause. (4) Prashant Bhushan not only had stoked controversy by raising the issue of referendum in J&K about deployment of army there but had also raised similar demand for referendum in Maoist hit areas as to whether paramilitary forces should be deployed there or not. (5) Needless to say that those who support the Maoist or the separatist cause, invariably help Pakistan in destabilising India. (6) In fact so popular is India's AAP in Pakistan that the issues raised by AAP on referendum in J&K gets solidarity across the border. In Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan has on its webpage an article titled, ‘Listening to the Voice of Aam Aadmi Party in order to hold Plebiscite in Occupied Kashmir is demand of the hour'. (7) The shocking aspect of the whole saga is the manner in which Pakistani Government agencies have been trying to portray that what AAP says in India is the thinking of the common man in India. In other words, Aam Aadmi Party members project themselves as representatives of the common man in India and then make controversial statements which are anti-national to the core and then Pakistan uses those statements to portray that this is the sentiment of the common man in India.
