digy rapper makes song about Black History Month. "Heir Jordin (Jordin Jackson-Prince) of East Saint Louis, Illinois, son of proud father and rapper Ramel "RT-FaQ" Prince of the group Doorway, is releasing his debut song and video "Proud History" dedicated to showing pride for his African American culture and heritage. The five year old rapping phenom raps "I'm proud, I'm proud of my Black History, it's history, and I'm proud" on the chorus for this anthem which amplifies and sums up the overall theme of the release. Jordin mentions historical figures Malcom X, Martin Luther King, Frederick Douglas, Rosa Parks, Gabby Douglas and more, articulating and rapping like no other five year old has done before. The video follows Heir Jordin on his journey to many East Saint Louis and Saint Louis historically Black landmarks like the Jackie Joyner Kersey Center, the Old Saint Louis Courthouse, the Delmar Loop Stars, and the Chuck Berry Memorial Statue. Heir Jordin also teams up with his brother Royale Prince (Teddy P) and an array of wild and crazy kids to further hype up the performance scenes. Come along and be amazed by the future of Hip Hop as five year old Heir Jordin releases "Proud History", which could quite possibly be the most profound Black History song ever made. dz Act Up. We laughed so much and had such a great time. I am so grateful that they shared their Valentine with us. What a blessing!!!!! Saturday, Sweetest Day: S. O. U. L. church picked the girls and I up in a chartered bus to take us to Park Cities Baptist Church for a day of pampering and soul feeding. Before we left Pebbles, we prayed. We arrived and opened in prayer. We had breakfast. Then it was off to get hair done, a make over and nails done. We got to pick out new outfits and accessories. The girls and I took family portraiture that once I receive the prints, I will post. Then we prayed before a fabulous lunch. We watched a short film that was spiritually uplifting. The First Lady sang, spoke a few words, then we had a time of praise and worship and washing over with the Blood of Christ, then a good Word. They allowed us to go back and pick a few more things from the fashion and accessory rooms. They played Official Kirk Franklin's "Stomp" and Mary Mary's "Shackles off My Feet" and we did African American line dancing to the songs. I got down in my new heels until I got too hot and my knees started to hurt. We were given the book Not I, but Christ and the Beautiful Women's Devotional Bible as we left, along with a lot of snacks and MARY KAY products. We were so pampered and spoiled!!!! What a blessing!!!! And, it ain't over!!!! Once we got home, we freshened up and waited for one of the ladies in my WOW small group to pick up to go to our small group's gathering, Champagne and Sweets. We had such a fabulous time!!!! I will definitely sleep well tonight. :) GOD is so good. All the time GOD is good. And, I know that tomorrow will be a blessing as well. :) Fam(ily), I hope that no matter whether married, dating or single, you know that Jesus is YOUR VALENTINE!!!! HE loves us all so much that HE was willing to die for us. HE came not to condemn the world, but to save it. YOU are LOVED. Good night, my fam(ily)!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxox

She also proved that once you get famous you get haters like this young girl won the 2012 Olympics and right after she got that gold people where talking about her hair, like really she just worked her ass off the get that gold and you wanna say something about her hair, of course her hair will be messed up she's doing bends and flip and whole. But anyways this girl is so inspirational. And now I wanna buy her books and just follow her life.

Nelida This is an odd little life I've been given this go round. I will share bits of the oddity with you now. Sharing is caring, yo. 1. I went to pick up Lilly from her first tutoring sesh today and was immediately met by a handful of ppl (3 kids and 2 adu Read more ...
lts) shouting across the room at me, "HI, LILLY'S MOM!!" I laughed a little and waved my best pageant queen wave back at them. When I reached the group, I got the greatest ever compliment. The tutor told me that when she asked Bean how she would know what I looked like at pick-up, my sweet daughter's response was, "She looks like a teenager." I laughed and said it's just because of my cupcake beanie. A tween boy commented, "No. I think it's everything. Your clothes, your shoes (Ness bought them for me. Thank you, baby. I'm a cool kid now.).... even your hair (yeah.... that one was shocking to me also)." Then Bean took a break between her bites of pizza to say so perfectly in the most nonchalant way possible, "You just look young, Mom." Y'all.... I nearly floated out of that room. How sweet is my little girl?! Best. Compliment. Ever. 2. Juju and I got into a heated debate over pretzel cheese dippers this morning. Yeah... there's not really much that I can say to explain or put alongside with this... I just never imagined I'd lose minutes of my life on a great pretzel debate with a six year old. 3. Noah picked up this library book called "The Name of the Child" written by Marilyn Reynolds and Don Kilby. The boys and I read it together before bed. It's really touching and definitely a "boy" book. I nearly cried. I'm serious. They made me promise to read it again at breakfast tomorrow. It's made my list of favorites. But, don't take my word for it..... 4. So, earlier this evening I was waiting for Bean's tutoring session to be done and decided to kill some time by talking to the love of my life about pertinent details of my day. Aka.. just rambling part of the time about Orange Julius and all the elderly mall walkers up here. Ness and I are not big "phone people". We are the worst at small talk over the phone, honestly. But dammit if I have to be bored while waiting for our daughter then so does he. He had already told me that he was watching some murder mystery documentary so I knew he wasn't going to be completely riveted by my dialogue with bloodshed flashing intermittently in front of his very retina. My voice ain't that seductive, yo. ;) anyway, somewhere during hearing myself utter these words "So, me and Bean watched the Gabby Douglas story this morning. You know ....the gymnast?... umm she won gold at the last summer Olympics... she's the first" THIS dawned on me "gymnast to ..yomagod you haven't heard a word I just said. How far back did you stop listening? Are you listening now? No. No you are not listening now. What if I said the word "naked"? Would you hear that?" There might have been three beats between the word "naked" and the reawakening of my intended's auditory senses. He cleared his throat and said, " What... um what, baby? I'm sorry. I didn't hear you. What did you say?" I started cracking up, told him to watch his show and we'd talk later. I just... I mean... Naked? Really? This is my life now. Honestly though... I can't blame him. I'd rather hear "naked" too. 5. Old Man River called me at 10:00pm to ask me if I was watching the Olympics. I wasn't. He insisted. I spent the next thirty minutes of my life being an amateur judge to the couple's figure skating competition while also discussing random noteworthy topics we had come to recently know of in our general brambling about as humans. But mainly... it was the figure skating. Yep. My dad... one of the most masculine men I know... appreciates a good triple salchow and an understated choice in skater's attire. It's probably one of my favorite memories of childhood. Just watching figure skating with my daddy. I'm thankful for his late night call. Before he got off the phone he hollered at me to "let Lilly watch." :) love my dad. It's not much, really. Just a regular "day in the life of..." but it's a little odd, it stars some pretty exceptional characters, and it's mine. Oh, sorry. I almost forgot.... NAKED. < Ness just started reading again ;)
