Read more ... this time (17 years I lived their) there wasn't a summer nor a season nor a month or for that matter a week or day that went by where I would be driving home from work (or somewhere) and see with my own eyes how the Chicago Police would have our black men & women handcuffed and went over the hood of their car while searching inside their cars. Because I'm white I witnessed time after time other white persons (in the work place, on the street, in the neighborhood) expressing their hatred tord our black men & women. There are so many examples of prejudice and racist individuals in our society it truly saddens me that we are still so far behind as a human race.
