Dominican law enforcement retrieved the body which had welts and hands and feet bound. The victim was identified as "Tulile" and some who were familiar with him said that he shined shoes at the hospital.
Dominican organizations "El Ciruelito" burned the Haitian flag in demonstrations through the day. They say they are in rebellion against the passivity of the Dominican government that allows for the "invasion of aliens".
Members of these organizations met at the Avenue La Piña and demonstrated a very provocative attitude toward illegal Haitians. They confirm want to keep their struggle throughout the month of the feast of the country.
