Pasalnya, pembangunan hotel yang diperkirakan berlantai 26 itu melakukan penggalian sedalam tujuh sampai delapan meter yang menyebabkan rumah warga menjadi rusak berat akibat dampak dari galaian tersebut.
Hal itu terungkap dari hasil kunjungan komisi C DPRD Kota Makassar bersama dinas tata ruang dan bangunan dalam menidak lanjuti laporan warga terkait pembanguan hotel tesebut.
Anggota Komis C,Rahman Pina mengatakan,pembangunan hotel Howard Jhonson yang terletak di jalan Khairil Anwar itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi sebab berdampak pada rusaknya rumah warga yang ada dilokasi pembangunan itu.
Olehnya itu,komis C merekomendasikan agar dinas tata ruang segera menindak lanjuti untuk menghentikan sementara pembangunan hotel tersebut.Sebab dampak pembangunannya sudah sangat merugikan warga setempat.
“Kami meminta ke dinas tata ruang agar menghentikan pembangunan hotel tersebut karena pembangunannya tidak melalui persetujuan warga terlebih dahulu,”ungkap,Rahman Pina diruang komisinya,senin 12 januari.
Lebih jauh dikatakannya,dari hasil kunjungan tersebut ditemukan bahwa memang air yang dihasilkan dari galian yang sedalam delapan meter itu mengalir kerumah rumah warga sehingga menyebabkan rumah warga menjadi terbelah dan rusak berat.Olehnya itu komisi C meminta kepada pemerintah kota yang dalam hal dinas tata ruang agar segera menghentikan pembangunan itu sebelum adfa persetujuan dari dewan dan warga setempat.
“Air yang berasal galian itu mengalir kerumah warga yg menyebabkan rumah warga mengalami rusak berat,”ungkapnya
Sementara itu anggota komisi C Irwan ST mengatakan,perlunya pengawasan yang ketat terhadap ijin yang dikeluarkan oleh dinas tata ruang.Sebab dari hasil kunjungan yang dilakukan oleh komisi C diketahui pembangunan hotel yang rencananya berlantai 26 itu tidak melalui persetujuan warga setempat.
Oleh sebab itu,pembangunan hotel Howard Jhonson yang terletak di jalan khairil Anwar itu harus dihentikan sebelum ada persetujuan dari warga.sebab dampaknya terjadi pada warga sekitar.
“Dinas tata ruang harus tegas menghentikan pembangunannya sebelum ada persetujuan dari kami dan warga setempat,”pungkasnya
