CBS News Noted Indian character actor Om Puri, who worked in films at home and abroad, has died in the western city of Mumbai. He was 66.

NPR Om Puri began acting in Indian art house cinema in the 1970s and soon branched into British and American films, including "Gandhi" in 1982 and "Charlie Wilson's War" in 2007.
