Its only after 12 years and telling the same story a few hundred time Read more ... s on entertainment shows, that he's getting the story a little muddled and I know from experience, if you've told the same story so many times, you've got to make it a little better each time you do or "hell" no one will listen anymore. I come from a long line of Irish story tellers and I'm sure that as stories were told in the family, their might have been a shred of truth the first dozen times it was told... But heck, that yarn could knit a sweater for each man and woman in the army a few years later. I think Brian might be suffering from getting stuck in between being a newsman and entertainer. Cut him some slack. Their might have been some Irishman in his family tree... It is genetic you know...

Except that Brian was 60 minutes behind that chopper ;-) That was Brian's first lie in the tail he spun for the world to hear and see! Then all of a sudden by the next time he told it again, it became his story, and he wants to blame "fog of war". Really, Brian? Brians first chance to set it straight was in 2004 but, instead he embellished the story more and kept telling his lie for ten years! So did his camera crew! RESIGN #BrianWilliams
