Y compartir la glosa que (pensando en cierto momento que “me iba”) escribí para mis familiares y amigos.
La misma se titula “Conversando conmigo mismo” y dice así: “Conversando conmigo mismo, hoy reviví mis recuerdos íntimos de niño atado al miedo ferozmente y forzado precozmente a ser un hombre. Recordé mi niñez interrumpida en forma impensada y abrupta, y mi adolescencia malherida por vacíos inexplicablemente incomprendidos. Las largas caminatas nocturnas también dijeron presente en el recuerdo, como la soledad y el silencio, la lectura y el juego. A la abismal distancia entre Dios y yo, confortada con la íntima unión sacramental, en el marco de un mundo brutal ¿cómo poderlas olvidar? ¿Cómo no extender aún mi mano por la noche, en busca de las manos amorosas de mi madre? ¿Cómo no abrigarme evocando la presencia de mi padre en las sombras invernales? Gracias doy a la Divina Providencia, porque elevé mi pobreza a la más alta de las cumbres: las letras. En ellas me eduqué para tratar con dignidad mi miseria y las traté como si fueran mi novia, les di todo mi dulzor. La vida fue dura, pero, pródiga conmigo; nada puedo reclamarle, hoy mi hija ya es mamá y mi hijo dona sangre. Mi esposa goza de su nieto, como mi espíritu inquieto de todo esto; y las alas de mis sueños se despliegan a lo largo y a lo ancho de la tierra. Mi bien intencionada voz corre precisa, y mi fe se mantiene intacta y maciza; del suelo al cielo las distancias se acortaron, y del cielo al suelo las mismas se abrazaron. El niño que llevo adentro ha dejado de estar preso; hoy corre y, libremente, ríe y transpira; y cuando siente los latidos en su pecho, se alegra y le da gracias a la vida”.
