David Dorn I just heard the news reporter use the word, "BLACK ICE" and that BLACK ICE caused the icy conditions for the Kardashian's accident. My request is for all the news shows is to reconsider using the adjective for icy conditions, "Black Ice". Since ice Read more ... is clear and takes on the color of the object, and the roads are not only black/asphalt but also beige/cement, than why black ice is used for all slippery conditions? Why can't the description of icy conditions on the road be described as "icy conditions caused an accident" rather than black ice caused the accident. I consider the term very negative as blackmail, blacklist, blackball; so now BLACK ICE. The definitions for all the words listed may need to be reconsider as well to describe the accuracy of the word. The word "WHITE" could be just as appropriate. thanks
