Chuck Brooks HBO failed miserably on its reporting for this story. Mentioning SpaceX, Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic, while Ignoring the most successful space launch service provider, United Launch Alliance.
The story begins with a backstory of Mars, Orion and Read more ... SLS. HBO goes to the point of showing the Orion launch aboard ULAs Delta IV Heavy and animations, but doesn't even mention United Launch Alliance.
When specifically talking about the private sector, they profile other companies and ignore ULA, but then go onto to show an Atlas V, also a ULA rocket, being launched from Cape Canaveral.
HBO should issue an apology to United Launch Alliance and it's top notch engineers for its blatant disregard for their contributions to this "New Space Race".
It amazes me that the most successful and most crucial launch provider for the United States, was simply left out and without so much as a hint of the new Vulcan rocket in development by ULA. The real "race" was running away from the truth about ULA
