We filed our state and federal income tax on March 6th through the online version of Turbo Tax. The taxes were initially r Read more ... ejected because I need an IRS pin. I obtained it, refiled and the taxes were accepted. The refund was due on March 22, I called Wells Fargo our bank and they didn't have a deposit. I reviewed the tax forms I printed out only to find that the routing number and account number had been changed from what I entered. The Turbo Tax system clearly shows that they deposited both state and Federal Returns into a Wells Fargo account ( this is stated in their systems). However the routing number and account # aren't ours and aren't Wells Fargo. I had requested that Turbo Tax take their filing fees from my Federal Refund, so the information they sent the IRS was a routing number and account # for a clearing house called the Tax Products group. The Tax products group paid Turbo Tax and then sent the money to the routing number and account # shown on the form that was filed by Turbo Tax, the problem is that somehow this number was changed!! The routing number is to Bancorp an online banking company who handles prepaid debit cards, and the account number is an internal number that links to a prepaid MasterCard at Card.com. Theses are not our accounts and we have never done business with either company. We have filed a police report with the Cherokee County Police, as clearly our computer or Turbo Tax computer was hacked, changing information. We need the DA to consider this a crime in the state of GA in order to supena Bancorp to try to retrieve our funds. We have also tried to contact a couple of attorneys to file civil charges with the Superior Court of Cherokee County against Turbo Tax, Intuit, Bancorp and Card.com. They deposited money in someone else's account that did not match any other identifying information. Everyone I spoke to at Bancorp said that is the names didn't match the refund would be returned to the IRS. We need help! Any ideas?
