Mrs Ambassador,
The Hungarian Peace Community is waiting for answers to the Civic Diplomacy Note sent to You on 5th May 2015. (See: http://mszfszk.hu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=860:hungarian-peace-community-civic-diplomacy-message-tu-us-ambassador-in-budapest&catid=2:magyar)
We have come now to the US Embassy in Budapest to hear your response to our questions concerning the international policy of the US Government, cause of growing anxiety in the Hungarian Public Opinion for the Peace in Europe.
We came to your Embassy to protest because the disinterest of Washington with the will for Peace of the Hungarians living in Hungary and outside of our borders.
We do not want War with Russia! We want to live in Peace with both East and West!
We protest against the fact, that your Government is supporting in Ukraine a regime openly collaborating with neo-nazi forces, commetting monstrousities comparables to the crimes of Hitlerian hordes. We protest, because your Government is assuring military, material and propaganda support to a regime throwing in the Army against his own people, the Russian population of East Ukraine, trying to strain by force the nation state unity, trampleing underfoot the agreements which have been signed in Kiev on 21 February 2014 and in Minsk on 12 February 2015. How could this happen? Why does the United States turn against his former allied in the fight against fascisme, becoming allied of those who enter into collusion with fascist and neo-nazi forces too?
We have expressed our disapproval with the War Policy of the Ukrainian Government, and we have called Kiev not to put in danger the Peace of other european countries, amongst them Hungary, by inciting to the escalation of the ukrainian conflict to between NATO and Russia. Now we demand the same to the Government of the United States, allied of our country in the frame of NATO, an Alliance we hope beeing for Peace.
