Indian political systems have been assaulting Buddhists common senses at home and abroad as there were US$ 143 million (Rs. 6. 35 billion) Japanese loan to develop Buddhist sites (IANS) dated March 23, 2007. In the Bodhgaya Management Committee’s misuse of executive Hindu Members create this problem. The non-Buddhists and Brahmins members should understand that “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Buddhist Temples were destroyed in India between 830 AD and 966 AD. Now what is happening in the secular India in a name of religion?

Present Buddhagaya management committee headed by Hindu political system which has violated basic human rights and we strongly condemn barbarous terrorist attack dated July 7, 2013 on Buddhist monks and Buddhagaya of the Mahabodhi temple where the Buddha attained supreme Enlightenment 2600 years ago in India.
As a former Asst. Editor of the Headquarters of The World Fellowship of Buddhists, I sent a letter to the Bangkok Post named “Why pilgrims don’t flock to Buddhagaya” dated February 14, 1983 (attached herewith). Therefore let it be Resolved that the WFB (World Fellowship of Buddhists’ conferences) efforts immediately to galvanize international opinion in relevant international organizations to address the plight of Buddhist community at Buddhagaya, further resolved that the WFB. make an appropriate demarche on the Indian Government to guarantee the management of Buddhagaya by Indian Buddhists.”
The question arises why would I wrote a letter to the Bangkok Post before 30 years of Buddhagaya blasts. Above the circumstances, resolutions adopted during the 18th W.F. B. (World Fellowship of Buddhists), General Conference in Taiwan, dated October 27 – November 2, 1992; (1) “Whereas the Buddhagaya Management Committee is now headed by Hindu (the magistrate of Gaya District), and a committee of eight persons of whom four are Hindus. (2) Whereas this is a very painful situation concerning a sacred religious place of one religious community being controlled by a group of people belonging to a difference faith whose avowed goals are detrimental to the interests of the other religion.

There is the Pre- Ariyan archaeological evidence of the universal monarch, who possessed the celestial wheel as one of his seven treasures (Cakkavatti Sutta, Patika Vagga, Digha Nikaya,) during the Buddhism of Kassapa Buddha (according to the Buddhavamsa or Lives of Buddhas of the Buddhist Tipitaka), in Mohenjodaro in Pakistan. We have discovered 32 bodily marks of a great man in a universal king (or a Buddha) according to the Lakkhana Sutta (Digha Nikaya).
Emperor Asoka’s rock edicts were written in Pali of Brahmi alphabets those are father of Hindi or Sanskrit, Bengali, Tamil, Thai, Gujrati, combodian, Laos and at all 40 alphabets of several languages. holocaust in the 7th century and destroyed Bodhi tree at Buddhagaya. History recorded that Hindu state communalism was started by king Sasanka in the 7th century and ancient Hindu rulers, poet Joydeb and Chief priests including Adi Sankharachriya destroyed Buddhism and made the Buddha as a Hindu God in India who took over the World Buddhists’ Buddhagaya to rob donations from the Buddhists days to come. Since then many things happened at home and abroad, we Buddhists could not survive without belonging the spirit of Buddhagaya in India as we read in the Buddhist Text, “He (The Buddha), victorious at the Bodhi-tree, enhanced the Sakya’s happiness, so victorious may I be, may I win peaceful victory ( Jayante bodhiya mule Sakyanam nandivaddhano).” Buddhists monks are injured during the Buddhagaya bomb blasts.

Jain temples, Sikh temples, Parsi religious places and Muslim mosques have not taken by Hindu political powers. Why only Buddhagaya took over by Hindu political system?
In the legitimate struggle of the Indian Buddhists to put an end to the sacrilege (Siva linga) that is being perpetrated at the sacred Buddhist site of Buddha Gaya, a historic duty and responsibility is cast upon the rest of the world Buddhist community to extend its fullest support,
morally, financially, materially and vocally toward this cause.
Therefore let it resolved that the Indian Buddhist community exert all efforts immediately to galvanize international opinion in relevant international organizations including UNESCO to address the plight of Buddhist community at Buddhagaya. Further resolved that world Buddhists make an appropriate demarche on the Indian Government to guarantee security and the management of Buddha Gaya (Bodhgaya) by Indian Buddhists soon.
Is it Hindu Vedic Supremacy in Buddhagaya? There is no human rights in Hindu Dharma dominated society; but Buddhagaya is the gift of Lord Buddha to present day society for promoting human enlightenment for mankind days to come.
