BREAKING NEWS: We've finally got the papers ready to rescue Mohan! Approximately 56 years old, shackled with heavy chains around his leg, malnourished and injured, Mohan really needs our help.
B Read more ... ut there's more to the story... and it's something we haven't told you before now. Last year, when we rescued Raju, we intended to rescue Mohan, too. Turns out, he and Raju have a history together (one we'll tell you more about in the days to come). As you know, we freed Raju from his chains in July, but Mohan disappeared without a trace before we could free him. And while we were overjoyed to bring Raju to freedom, we were absolutely heartbroken to have lost Mohan.
But now rescuing Mohan -- and reuniting him with Raju -- is within our grasp. Our goal is to raise $109,500 by March 23rd to fund his rescue and free him from his chains forever (and thanks to donations already received, we are already 1/4 of the way there!).
