Sakeenah L. Hinnant On June 23, 2015, My sister Ayshia was admitted to the ER and around 10:15 p.m. we made it to the back. A CNA pushes her back to the room in a wheelchair and told her to get in the bed. She then explained to her that she felt like she was on a cloud Read more ... and if she stood up she would fall. The CNA asked her to get I the bed again and so I told her I would not let her hit the floor. She stood up and immediately passed out and started having a seizure. I asked the CNA to get a doctor so she walked out, in no hurry, and told a nurse she was seizing. I heard the nurse say, clear as day, "it's nothing we can do about it just get the seizure pads." After about five minutes the CNA returned with ONE seizure pad and we asked her again to get a doctor and she preceded, slowly, to strap on the pad. While all of this us happening the patient, my sister, Ayshia Hinnant, was still unconscious. So after asking her a third time she walks out angrily and takes off her gloves and go to the nurse's station. All the while my sister is still unconscious, so I walk out and ask for a doctor again. After maybe three more minutes two nurses and two CNA comes in. They called security on my father and put him out the hospital, but still not one doctor came in to check on her. At that time they began to work on her. I am very upset about the manner things were handled. We were treated rudely and there was a considerable amount of lack of care. My sister, Ayshia Hinnant, laied in bed for about ten minutes unconscious after having two seizures. Thank You,
