Don Williams Josh Gates. I have watched and enjoyed a number of the productions that you created and/or have been a part of over the years and have frequently considered sending in a comment and am finally getting around to doing so. Your sense of humor is a ref

Like so many other people, I have always had a fond interest in history, pirates and treasure and found your programs that follow those subjects to be a bonus when you presented them. I also followed another television series (The Curse of Oak Island ). They have mentioned you in their programs - always with a great deal of respect. As for the subject of potential treasure being hidden on Oak Island, their program reignited my old interest to the point that I began to attempt to decipher the information relating to the island and maps that are purported to be authentic treasure maps of Captain William Kidd's treasure. In November of 2014, I was able to successfully decipher the information "and" to crossreference the information that indicates the locations of treasure sites on Oak Island. I have not been able to contact the group who own ( are doing the present search for treasure on the island ). The only person who I was able to interest in the results of my research was Robert Leonard. He and his father (Bob Leonard ) had been guests on the program and had presented NMR satellite images of Oak Island. Robert had offered to sign a nondisclosure agreement in order to have access to my research information. After consulting my legal advisor I elected to "not " release my information.
I have the locations of treasures as presented in the maps and in the cipher stone symbols from Oak Island but apparently the Oak Island Group is not interested in it. Perhaps (and sensibly so) they are concerned that they will end up being victims of the curse that is associated with the treasure hidden on Oak Island.
Thanks again. Sincerely. DON
