Mappatmadam Krishnasarma Ramakrishnan Captain Kalia's Case
Pakistan murdered Mr Kalia in the most brutal way about 16 years ago. The media, the opposition politicians and Kaliya's family want the Modi government to take the case to the ICJ (International Court of Justice). I am sure n Read more ... othing positive will come out of this single case in ICJ; there is no genocide here.
On the other hand, this will establish a precedent for Pakistan to open up other fronts in the international forum. A huge hornet's nest will be opened and India's policy of of avoiding third party interference in the Indo-Pak bilateral discussions will be compromised. Pakistan will definitely save itself by giving all sorts of lies on an incident that happened long ago. India should never go the ICJ. We, Indians, can console and pay a huge sum as compensation for Kaliya's family.
Be sure, Pakistan wants India to approach some international forum which will help them to raise the Kashmir issue to the forefront. I do not understand why the media and opposition politicians can be so foolish on the the correct stand of our government!
