Crash Heightsman Dear Yahoo! News, I'm a daily reader of your news posted online which I view from my pc. I enjoy much of your content reported by the AP and your own news team. Please can you do something about your videos. More likely than not they will time out. Read more ... You force me to watch your 30-33 second advertisement which never fails to load, then I get a spinning circle for another mintue or so before it saying failed to load video. Sometimes I click back a page and try to reload it. It's a 50/50 chance that the second time will work, but not before forcing me to watch the same 30-33 second advertisemnt again. Then the video loads and it's 1:15 seconds. So I literally spend the 1:00-1:06 watching advertisements, another 5-8 seconds loading your page (my Internet is pretty quick. 100 meg pipe with 5 PCs.), and about a mintue waiting for the first video to load. Further more, the photos in the photo gallery don't always load properly and there are consistently type-o's in your reports. I'm not sure if your people are just not proof reading them thoroughly enough or even at all, but as part of a huge corporation that's traded at over $30 per share I would expect better. I make reports to my boss and clients everyday and I check my work for type-o's. Takes 60 seconds (just two of your advertisements) to do so. Don't think this would effect your trading, but would make more than a few of us daily news readers more happy. Thanks for your time.
